Cows

The more time I spend with cows,
the happier I am eating them.

I am proud of my niece and nephew.

Hunter has his own cattle company at the age of 11 (e-mail me if you need his digits)
and Addison has her very first calf (Jack) at the age of six.
They work hard every single day.
They are respectful and kind to these animals.
and understand that they will become food.

A wise lesson from wise children...

Cowgirls *always* cartwheel

  1. This is a great post! These two are great role models for other kids about learning at a young age how to work and be responsible!

If you like cows, you have to see the movie Temple Grandin. It is an old one but one of the best movies I have seen in the last year. She loved cows so much--but knew they were food--that she designed a humane way to slaughter them. Her design is used by over 50% of the slaughter houses in America today.

Oh, did I mention she was autistic AND had her Ph.D.?
